Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

One thing I hate about myself is my lack of motivation, I really have none! This year I really want to get the motivation I need to get healthy and fit! The only way I can think of doing this is through Charity work. I have wanted to raise money for charity for a long time, but as with everything I have just been too lazy to do anything about it! So this is where I try and kill two birds with one stone, I want to try and lose as many pounds in weight as I can, and gain as many pounds in money as I can for my chosen charity.

The charity I have chosen is Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT), who fight retinoblastoma. This charity is very dear to my heart as my gorgeous sister had this as a baby, they caught it in time to allow my sister to live, and you wouldn't believe how thankful I am for this, I couldn't imagine life without her. Unfortunately this cancer can be inherited which means the future children of both myself and my sister could be affected, which is why I want to do all I can to help this charity.

All I ask is that you can sponsor just a few pounds, and I promise I will try my utmost to keep my end of the bargain! I want to try and lose at least a stone in weight by my birthday on 24th March! But of course I will try for more! I will also keep you all updated on any weight loss so you know i'm keeping to my word! My total goal is just under 7 stone! So it's going to be tough!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

If you would like to donate but wouldn't like to do it online, I will gladly take offline payments and donate on your behalf :)
