I am again running in the Paras 10 race this year. This is a ten mile tab, with 35lbs in a back pack to carry. This years see me and Tex taking part.

Last year saw me complete this in 1 hour 43 minutes, with the target set for entrants at 1 hour 50 minutes (and this is the target that the Parachute regiment trainees have to complete in, in order to join the regiment).

Over the last year we have seen an increase in the number of soldiers being killed and injured in Iraq and Afghanistan and Help for Heroes assists those soldiers injured by providing practical, direct support for our wounded.
