Last year our 9 year old daughter ran in the 2012 Disney Princess Kids Race in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital.  In part, it was to thank them for providing her with treatment for the past 2 years, but most importantly, it was to raise enough money to equip a play room for the children at the hospital who have suffer with life threatening illnesses.  

She raised 3 times what she intended to raise and she inspired the rest of us to do something too.  This year, she wanted to go from the 1 mile race to the 5K (3.1 miles) and we decided that she would not do it alone!  

So here we are, all signed up for the race!
