Neil took great joy in creating opportunities for young people who otherwise would not have benfitted from the education on offer at Portsmouth Grammar School. He loved meeting pupils at interview and followed their careers with close interest.

Neil's family have asked the school to join them in launching a memorial fund to continue Neil's hard work and determination to support the bursary programme at PGS.

Pupils and parents, past and present, and all those whose lives have been touched by Neil in some way are invited to contribute to a bursary fund in Neil's memory as a lasting recognition of a much-loved husband, father, colleague, teacher and friend.
