Dear All,

I have been persuaded to do something energetic for charity. It includes mountain biking, canoeing and hiking the equivalent of a marathon distance in a target time of 10 hrs. The event also includes various "challenges" along the way...

It takes place around on the edge of , on Saturday 22^nd May 2010. The charities that will benefit in equal shares from this will be Cancer Research and Care International. 

I have chosen to use JustGiving to help collect any sponsorship that you may feel that you can donate. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they will send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. The funds will go to Care International UK who will then transfer one half of the total to Cancer Research UK.

Please give as generously as you can while I try to get a bit fitter for the occasion!
