I am running (term used broadly) the Great North Run. This is my first time running a half marathon...all 13.1 miles and I am delighted to be offered the chance to take part. Training has been a challenge - it's interesting what life throws at you. And there in is the point - make the most of it. One life. One heart. One chance to run, and lots of opportunity to help make a difference to those who need it most.
