Story

Hello

My little sister Oonagh passed away in March this year at the age of 35 as a result of Ovarian Cancer.  She was a fun loving sister, aunt, daughter and teacher who was taken from us far, far too soon.

Before she died she asked if I would do some fundraising for Target Ovarian Cancer.  This charity helps women learn about ovarian cancer and raises awareness of the symptoms. So myself and some friends from Newcastle AC have decided to run the 2014 Dublin Marathon in October.

If Oonagh had of recognised the symptoms sooner she might have still been here today and if Target Ovarian Cancer can help even one more woman get an early diagnosis and avoid Oonagh's fate, then both Oonagh & myself will be eternally grateful.

Thanks

Niall
