We support education & healthcare projects to help people of the Waterberg in S Africa

Story

The Waterberg Trust in South Africa supports the welfare of the poorest and most needy in this community in this special region of northern S Africa along the Limpopo river basin.  The need has never been greater than during this challenging time. The Trust supports in many ways, including providing food parcels for the starving and 'Sweet Dream' packs so that teenage girls can attend school uninterrupted.

In non covid-19 times, the Trust supports 'boys to men' mentoring (enabling better choices to be made by young people), and supporting after school clubs and environmental education within the local community. The list is varied and long. Everything that the Trust does improves the welfare and quality of life for the communities within the Waterberg region.

A group of us are cycling across Wicken Fen and visiting other nature reserves along the 85 mile route. It will be a fun but challenging day (especially for those of us unused to long cycle rides!)  I look forward to sharing how we get on.   Thank you for your support !
