We provide financial support to injured emergency services heroes

Story

I am doing the three peaks challenge this time next week. It has come around all too quickly. With little to no training, meaning, one big walk a couple of weeks back, I am sort of looking forward to starting the climb at 1am…

The three peaks being: Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.

Given recent events, this is an opportunity to raise some money and honestly, it will encourage me to drag myself up each mountain. I am raising money for the emergency services.

The Blue Lamp Foundation was set up in October 2010 after PC Rathband received life changing injuries after being shot on duty.  The Foundation provides support to members of the emergency services whose physical or mental health has suffered as the result of being injured whilst on duty.

The charity is set up to help multiple independent charities, a list that includes: The Fire Fighter Charity, The Police Treatment Centre and National Emergency Services Bereavement Fund
