In the last couple of years I've met several people involved with The Calvert Trust, a five-star accredited activity centre, located in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of Exmoor National Park, enabling people with physical, learning, behavioural and sensory disabilities to experience exciting, challenging and enjoyable outdoor activities, together with their friends and families. 

I now find myself with the wonderful opportunity of supporting this fantastic charity by Running the Virgin London Marathon on 28th April 2019!!!

Slightly daunted by the 26.2 mile challenge..... Anyone who knows me well (especially those from my old athletics days) will understand that running 2 miles is considered long distance for me, but I will give it my best shot in aide of this great cause!
