So it's that time of the year again where Nexus is having it's RAG week and we're looking for people to sponsor us in raising money.

This year I shall be taking part in a world record attempt for the longest non stop 11 aside football match ever. We're aiming for a time of 72 hours or 3 whole days. We will be playing on an outdoor floodlit pitch.

Other events that we are doing include "Junk Raft" in which 3 teams of 4 will make a raft out of recylable material and have a race.

"Vocal Revolution" is a challenge to go out 5 days in a row and teach people travel round the country and teach people to sing and perform a small concert at the end of each day.

As follow up to last year's musical, this year we're doing "Film in a week"! Imagine a feature length version of Glee and you're there. Simply, we will be making a musical film that's based round a band. We will be going from script writing to final product in just one week including learning songs, recording them, filming and editing. One mammoth task!

Our final event is "Cycle powered busking". Lasy year we had cycling and busking, this year they're one! We will have a band of buskers who will be joined by a group of cyclists who will have the bike on stands, hooked up to generators which will be powering the buskers, enabling them to have electric instruments and be louder and get people's attention more.
