Along with the sale of a pedigree Texel sheep at a sale on the 10th August at Worcester Livestock Market, of which the entire proceeds will be donated to the Giles Trust, we as a family are asking friends and family to help support this fantastic charity. 

This is a charity close to our hearts as we've witnessed all too well how a brain tumour effects a patient and their family. Through the amazing work of the team at the QE we have learnt that sadly only 1% of cancer research funds are dedicated to brain tumours. Some 16,000 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour a year and we would love to do a little more to fund much needed support for brain tumour sufferers.

 For every £1 invested in the trust, the charity has access to £10 worth of drug and medical procedures to help current patients and those who will be diagnosed in the future. Fingers crossed fellow Texel breeders will support this sale by bidding on our shearling ewe, but those who would love to support in other ways please feel free to do so here.
