We campaign for legal regulation of drugs to protect people better and save lives

Story

Thank you so much for visiting my JustGiving page - I really need your support for this fundraiser. Christmas is the perfect time to remember those in prison and to support Transform!

I will be spending the night of December 19 in jail. But I will be walking out the next morning - unlike thousands of other people imprisoned because drugs are illegal.

Please take a moment to think about how serious it is to criminalise people for drugs and how it ruins their lives. I believe we should treat people with drug problems with compassion not prison.

I am raising funds to support Transform's campaign 'Anyone's Child: Families For Safer Drug Control' (www.anyoneschild.org.uk), because these families understand first hand the terrible damage caused by bad drug laws. That's why they are calling on the government to legally regulate drugs - to protect people rather than punish them.

Please give what you can by clicking on the pink button to the right. Your donation will help stop thousands of people needlessly going to prison.

Thank you

About the charity

Our vision is a world where drug policy promotes health, protects the vulnerable and puts safety first. We are an independent charity dedicated to making safer drug policies a reality. This means ending prohibition and replacing it with a system of legal regulation for all drugs.
