We raise awareness/ offer support to improve the lives of PMP patients

Story

My husband Dave was diagnosed with High Grade Mucinous Adencarcinoma with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei in November 2018, this is a very rare cancer that originates in the appendix and can spread all around the abdominal cavity, he had surgery in January of this year where the surgeons managed to remove 90% of the tumours. He is now undergoing chemotherapy in the Hope that this will make a difference.
Our children have had to watch him fight this disease for the past 7 months and wanted to raise some money for a pseudomyxoma charity. Our friend Russ is also taking part in the Prudential London to Surrey 100 mile bike ride in August to raise money for this charity and support Isabella & Lucy.
If you would like to join us this event will be held at the Julie Rose stadium on Sunday 21st July at 10am, our aim if we have enough participants is a marathon (106 laps). This can be ran, jogged or walked, and can be 1 lap or 10!  We would love to see you!
If you can come along please share this fundraiser on your pages for your family and friends to sponsor your laps if they would like to. Anything helps. Thank you for your support. I've included information about Pseudomyxoma Survivor below.

Together we:

* offer practical and emotional advice
* fund small grants to help patients and caregivers with the impact of treatment
* Raise awareness
* support research

Pseudomyxoma Survivor is a non-profit organization, run by patients and caregivers. We have a thriving support community supporting anyone whose life has been touched by pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP) as well as appendix cancer and other peritoneal surface malignancies. We’re completely dependent on voluntary donations. Our patron is Sean Hepburn Ferrer. Sean’s mother, Audrey Hepburn, passed away shortly after being diagnosed with PMP.

Many thanks
