Hello, I'm Nicola, and this summer I will be going to Uganda for a month.
This trip aims to build a playground for a school with Play-Action International providing children the opportunity to have somewhere to play, which we in the UK have taken for granted.
Studies have shown the act of playing has positively impacted children in their future lives. Children who were lucky enough to play on a playground growing up have earned 42% more than children who weren't provided with that opportunity.
So as you can see this is a great cause to get behind.
Your fundraising would be highly appreciated and would significantly impact the children of Uganda.
In addition to helping out the children of Uganda, I have challenged myself to make 1000 origami cranes for the people of Ukraine (in light of the recent events that is happening there). I hope this would encourage you to donate to allow me to go to Uganda and help build a playground for the children.
