 As you are probably aware I have decided to put myself through the torture of running the Flora London Marathon on 22nd April 2007 running for the charity Mind.

 Unfortunately I lost my darling brother in June of this year and wanted to do something that we tried many times to enter together but never managed to get in. After having to experience the tragedy of losing my brother I never fully appreciated the severity of mental health issues. This is how scary it is;

 - According to the World Health Organization, depression will be the second biggest most common killer by 2020, surpassing both heart disease and Aids. 

 - This week alone more than 111 people in the UK will kill themselves.

 - The Largest killer of young men is suicide.

 My brother was a caring and loving man who dedicated his life to helping others but who suffered in silence. I miss my brother more than words can explain and I would run a million marathons if I could have him back.
