Thank you all who have helped support a worthwhile charity that is close to my heart.

 

We are canoeing from Fort William to Inverness (a route of about 100Km) over the course of 5 days from the 30th May until 3rd June.  At night I will be wild camping using a tarp and hammock rather than a tent and will be carrying all required supplies for the trip. 

I (Nik) was diagnosed testicular cancer with in December 2003 and had to undergo two cycles of Chemotherapy (BEP). I have been all clear since then. This experience has promoted me to start getting out and pushing myself to do such trips and thus I have decided to raise money for checkemlads.com which is a charity dedicated to raising the awareness of this form of cancer as we all know how good blokes are at going to the doctors. 

We are covering all costs for this trip personally and all of the money donated will go to charity.
