Impetus transforms the lives of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds by ensuring they get the right support to succeed in school, in work and in life. We find, fund and build the most promising charities working with these young people.

Story

Dear Friends

On 13th September I will be taking part in a Triathlon (750m swim, 21.2km bike and 5km run) sponsored by the Financial Times, in order to raise money for Impetus - The Private Equity Foundation (http://www.impetus-pef.org.uk/ ), the leading venture philanthropy charity focused on children and young people. I will be joined by several of my colleagues and we will try to tackle the challenge at Eton, Dorney Lake (the 2012 Olympic venue).

As many of you will know, I have been a Trustee of Impetus-PEF for several years and have supported their work which focuses on transforming the lives of disadvantaged children and young people helping them to reach their full potential. As Trustee and supporter I have seen firsthand the impact of Impetus-PEF’s work and the difference it has made to thousands of children’s lives.

In 2010, I ran the Athens Marathon for the Private Equity Foundation raising over £10,000 with your support. If you would like to join me again in supporting this great cause, please follow this link: https://www.justgiving.com/Nikos-Stathopoulos1. Any contribution you are able to make will be gratefully received.

Thank you in advance for your kind support and generosity.
