I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 2009 and do my best to stay active to stave off the symptoms which can affect all of my joints but in particular my shoulders, wrists and hands.

I was lucky enough to to use the FFC facilities in Penrith, they really helped me out, rehabilitated me and gave me some excellent advice which I still use today.

I just think it's an amazing charity. I'd like to give something back.

This is also on my list of things to do before I turn 40 so you'll be helping me achieve this.

I'm doing it most of all because I CAN :-)
