This September and October, after many COVID19 cancelations, I'm going to finally be running the Brighton Marathon (12th Sept) & London Marathon (3rd Oct) in memory of our precious son, Noah.  

Noah was born on 10th January 2019, an incredible little boy who completed our family. Tragically, 11 weeks later his precious life unexpectedly came to an end.  Whilst we were devastated by his loss and miss him dearly, we were humbled and overwhelmed by the incredible support we received from the emergency services.  Noah received the very best care possible by an army of highly skilled medical staff in a hospital with the very best equipment and materials. Sadly, such care remains a distant dream for many today, something we as a family are all too aware of from the years we've spent working in Haiti and East Africa.

After Noah passed away, rather than receiving flowers and the like, our amazing friends and family kindly donated to a fund in memory of Noah.  Noah's Fund was set up to try and give mums and babies in countries like Haiti the same life-saving support we received.  The fund is supporting Hope Health Action (the charity we co-founded in 2007) and will be building a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Noah's memory at our partner hospital in Haiti, HCBH.  This new unit will dramatically improve the level of care available, ensuring HHA and HCBH can offer lifesaving neonatal support for babies for many years to come.  

Noah would have been 2 this year and so I'm running 2 marathons in his memory.  So many of you have already been incredibly generous towards our work but if you'd like to donate towards this new neonatal unit we'd be so grateful of your support.
