Story
Hey,
Thanks for stopping by.
As part of our charity effort this year a bunch of us signed up in January to run the equivalent of Land’s End to John O’Groats over the course of the year – a mere 1,407km or ‘only’ 4km a day!
Nine months on and despite a variety of sore knees, pulled ligaments, blisters, swollen ankles, strained muscles and sheer fatigue, about a dozen of us are still out there in all weather slowly making our way North – a tremendous effort by all. A special shout out to the two individuals who have completed already – an amazing achievement!
This year we’re supporting The Yard, who offer the chance for disabled children and young people to experience creative and adventurous play. It’s a unique safe space and an important lifeline that creates a sense of belonging, community and support for parents and carers too.
We set ourselves a target of £4,000 and while we’re almost three quarters of the way through the year, we’re a little off our target, so we really do need and value your support and your generosity.
So if you can help us at all, we’d very grateful, if a little grumpy, as we hobble a little closer to the finish line.
Many thanks for all of your support, we’re off for another run…
