My brother Graham and I, supported by our good friend David Gross who will be both support driver and fellow cyclist, are cycling from London to Lake Como in Italy to raise funds for Julia's House. Our departure date is now set for 22 May 2019, lasting between three and four weeks with an estimated arrival date of 13 June. This 1,300 mile (2,000 Km) journey through England, France, Switzerland and Italy will be a major challenge for us but we are really looking forward to the kick off now. We are all in training and despite the grim Winter weather we are in good shape for the challenge and looking forward to some warmer temperatures.

As I enter retirement I want to take the opportunity to help Julia's House,  a fabulous organisation that provides outstanding, award-winning care for babies, children and young people with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions and support for their families.
