Story

At Oldfield School we have been privileged to see  first hand the powerful impact that 1:1 mentoring can have on students who are struggling with life. 1:1 mentoring is life changing. A warm smile, a non-judgemental conversation, compassion, care and wisdom all play their part in enabling our most vulnerable begin to thrive again. We are so grateful for all the positive input that Mentoring Plus has had on individuals in our own school community and young people all across the city.  We are delighted to be able to take part in the Bath Marches to raise money for this well deserving cause.

Your donation will allow Mentoring Plus to continue to support many more young people. We know that long term 1:1 mentoring support results in increased confidence and self-esteem and improved mental health and wellbeing. This has a direct effect on relationships and engagement in school.

After 18 months of coping with Covid lockdowns and restrictions on top of their own challenging family situations the demand for 1:1 mentoring is higher than ever before.

Thank you for your support, it is really appreciated. Love from the Oldfield School Walking Team (Gaynor, Ali, Kate and Laura)
