Antibiotics underpin nearly all routine medical procedures.  However, increasing resistance to these essential drugs mean that cancer treatments, organ transplants and hip replacements could become unviable within 10 years, putting thousands of lives at risk. 

Antibiotic Research UK are raising money to fund research into producing new antibiotics to ensure this never happens.
