Hundreds of runners will be taking part in the London Marathon 2019 to raise funds for St John Ambulance, the charity that picks you up, dusts you down and gets you over the finish line.

Story

Hi All

Welcome to my just giving page!

In April 2019 I am honoured to be running the London Marathon in aid of the St John Ambulance charity.

Every year, more than 400,000 people learn how to save a life through St John’s Ambulance training programmes. Their volunteers provide first aid in their communities and keeping people safe at events. Not to mention their commitment to working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls.

Growing up I took for granted, as many of us do, St John’s Ambulance at the many rugby tournaments, music festivals and sports events that I attended and enjoyed.  Today these events, and even the London Marathon itself, would not be able to go ahead without the volunteers from St John Ambulance who are committed to maintaining the safety of the public and responding to incidents.

For this reason it is my privilege to support this fantastic charity.  Your donations, however large or small, will make a huge difference and I promise to make you proud.

Thank you,

Oliver
