Story

Yes the rumours are true....the “Gauch” is doing the Marathon!

In a moment of testosterone filled, sheer madness iv decided to make a very late decision to do the London marathon (26.2 miles) on April 25th . It usually takes on average 7 months to train for such an event, however as i do relish a challenge, i have given myself just over 3 months to train!!

It has been rumoured that one can lose up to an 1inch, yes 1 inch (temporarily) in height from doing the marathon. I, cherishing every inch of my height, is prepared to take such a risk for Charity.

I am aiming to raise £1800 for a charity called Association of International Cancer research (AICR). It is rare to know someone who has not been affected by Cancer, whether it is a Family member, friend or a Friend’s friend. I, having lost a family member from Cancer want to help prevent others from such losses.

AICR is
funded entirely by charitable donations receiving  no money from Government or other public bodies. It has done a fantastic job so far having supported a large variety of projects in all corners of the world in the past 30 years and currently have more than 214 projects underway.

I would really appreciate any money that you can send in my direction, no matter how small or large! I think it'd be great to go way beyond the £1800 mark and I can't see any reason as to why we can't do that.

Students, I know you're skint but as i know the loan payments have come through, NO EXCUSES!

Much love,

Oli x
