Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am running the London Marathon 2016 in memory of a very special lady, Joanna Cottam, who has touched my life without ever being in it.

She was the mum of my close friend Zara Zubeidi, who I met when I started work at new! magazine over two years ago. Joanna was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in November 2011 and passed away in August 2012, sadly before I ever had the opportunity to meet her. 

I know she was a wonderful mum to her five children and a vibrant person with a zest for life, and all the money we raise through this page will be given directly back to Woking Hospice and their 'angels', which cared for her in her final days so brilliantly and relies heavily on donations. 

This is going to be a huge challenge (it's 26.2 miles eeek!), so please, give generously. Thank you all!
