hi Everyone, 

I’ve decided to choose a different charity this time. This is in memory of my best friend and Grandpa who died suddenly at the young age of 69 after suffering from a stroke. Completely randomly, completely unexpected. 

Due to the stress and strain of daily life, strokes are becoming more frequent in younger people than before. 1 person will have a stroke every 5 minutes in the UK.  

Had my Grandpa’s stroke been caught early enough, instead of being dismissed as an ear infection, then Bristol Stroke aftercare would have been the people to look after him.
