I’ve decided to run Bath Half Marathon this October to raise money for SafeLives; the charity - amongst many other brilliant things - helps end Elder Abuse. Financial abuse leaves our Elders vulnerable, neglected and isolated. Without charities like SafeLives both the elderly and their families may not have access to the vital information and support that they need to combat the issue. 

Running has been a safe space for me to process a lot of my thoughts, anger and grief these past five months. I’d really like to raise some money in hopes that it could stop even one person or family from having the same experience.
