Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I was diagnosed with Luekaemia at the age of 16 in 2004. I underwent Total Body Irradiation and a Stem Cell transplant at the age of 17 in 2005. The Leukaemia came back, but the situation was considerably better than it was previously and ever since I have been receiving "top-ups" of the donar stem cells in an attempt to bring the levels of Leukaemia in my system down. My levels are currently very low and hopefully soon I will be in remission, but it has taken a very long time to get this far and so close to being given the all clear.
I am treated at the Hammersmith Hospital where Leuka is based so I try to donate as much as possible to them with the continued help of my family and friends.
I am doing a 19.1 mile bike ride in Thetford Forest this Sunday, so any donation would be greatly appreciated.
