We fund life saving medical research to beat the world's biggest killers.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit One Medicare's JustGiving page.

As a company we have a strong connection with Leeds having medical centres at The Light and at Hilton Road. In May 2011 a few members of staff (and some friends and family) have decided to run the Leeds Half Marathon and we would love to take this opportunity to raise some much needed money for a worthy charity.

Many of us will also be running a number of 10k runs to build up to the 13 mile challenge. Watch this space for regular updates and photos!

This time around we have chosen the British Heart Foundation. Approximately 2.6 million people in the UK are living with coronary heart disease (CHD). Every year they save thousands of lives thanks to their ground-breaking research and innovative health initiatives. But to do this they really rely on the generosity of people like you to help them to continue their vital work.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Heart and circulatory diseases are the world’s biggest killers. That’s why the British Heart Foundation exists. By funding research, we can help find treatments and cures that could save lives. With your donations and the awe-inspiring science we fund, we make science fiction a reality, together.
