On behalf of the Oval Road Riders thank you for taking the time to visit our justgiving page.  Most of us work either at Hat Trick or Plum Pictures in Camden (Oval Road to be exact..) or know someone who does and, in a moment of madness, we've all agreed to don our cycle shorts to attempt the London to Cambridge bike ride.  It's 57 miles in the soaring July heat - it's going to be a challenge as some of us can barely cock our legs over the saddle! (naming no names here....)

We're hoping to raise £5,000 for the charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer.  Breast Cancer is a disease which has effected many of us, the money we raise will go towards pioneering research projects which we all hope will take us one step closer to eradicating it for good.   

However your donation will actually be worth twice as much as normal!! Hat Trick has agreed that it will match all the donations made (up to £5k) to give to it's charity of the year - Room To Read.  RTR is changing millions of childrens lives by funding literacy projects and gender equality in education.  42% of girls in developing countries are not enrolled at school, if we meet our £5k target our donation will mean that we can fund 30 girls to stay at school. A big incentive to feel that cycle burn....
