In September 2017 our daughter was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. During the most intense treatments Ella was an inpatient at Sheffield children’s hospital on and off for months and it was at this time this amazing charity really makes a difference to the families that are affected, where we could make use of the nearby house to accommodate parents so we could be nearby while Ella was having treatment.  

The charity offers so much support in many ways to parents of children with cancer providing holidays and  even the little things like getting you sandwich.

Genuinely without this charity and the support and kindness of the ladies who run it this terrible time would have been much more difficult.

I now want to give back and help PACT help more families in our situation. To do this me and four friends are going to cycle the off road route from St Bees in Cumbria to Robin Hoods Bay in North Yorkshire taking four days, climbing just 17000ft and 200 miles.
