Story

For those of you who know me well you will be acutely aware that I have pretty much done no exercise in the last 15 years since leaving the Army. There is a rumour that I have been seen running the streets since Easter but that would be in complete contradiction to my mantra of " Never run it panics the troops!" Suffice to say the time has come to stretch the little legs and generate some cash for an extremely worthy cause. Ok, it's not exactly running a marathon but I will suffer if that helps to loosen the wallets/purses.

I will be supporting our charity partner of the year, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSHCC). Great Ormond Street Hospital was founded in 1852 and is one of the world’s leading Children’s hospitals. It receives more than 200,000 patient visits every year from children all over the world. For many of the children treated at the hospital it’s their last hope.

GOSHCC faces a mountainous task of raising £50million every year to support this vital work. Michael Page is looking to do its bit and provide enough funds for a new adolescent’s recreation room.

The challenge - the Yorkshire Three Peaks – Pen-Y-Ghent, Whernside & Ingleborough. I plan to do it between sunrise and sundown, assuming I don't get lost! For those I have sponsored in the past - Pay Up! For those I haven't - I will, so please be generous.

Thanks in advance for generously supporting our efforts in aid of GOSHCC and all the children these funds will go on to help.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you,

Peter
