Pakistan is facing a growing humanitarian crisis as catastrophic flooding is affecting even more people than the 2004 tsunami, Haiti earthquake and South Asia earthquake combined.

The Government of Pakistan have estimated that heavy monsoon rains have now affected over 20 million people, including millions of children. The situation for many is deteriorating daily.

Muslim Hands has been present on the ground for widely publicised disasters such as the Asian Tsunami of 2004, the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the Horn of Africa Famine of 2006. But we've also been present at crises that never reach our screens, including sub-zero winters in Kashmir, cholera outbreaks in Guinea Buissau and acute droughts in Mali and Niger.
