Please help me raise money for this very important cause!!! 

Many years ago, whilst working in Turkey, iI witnessed the horrific reality of "dancing'"bears -claws and teeth having been removed brutally and trained to "dance" on hot metal plates. The image of these broken souls  will stay with me forever. 

The Zarnesti Bear Sanctuary in Romania houses 97 bears rescued from captivity. These bears have had the most terrible beginnings, often being chained or housed in small, filthy cages for more than 20 years, and are deeply traumatised.

Zarnesti Bear Sanctuary gives them back their lives -  to roam, to forage, to socialise. 

BUT IT NEEDS FUNDS!!

I will be spending 3 days hands-on,  behind the scenes, at the sanctuary and a day trekking through the Piatra Craiului National Park to raise money for these majestic animals.

Please support me in changing the lives of these bears  (and give an ageing woman a push up the hill !!!!)
