Story
Thank you everyone for taking the time to visit my just giving page.
Everyone who has had to endure a serious health issue will know how it turns your life upside down. Emotions and stress are all over the place, our situation was no different. We all think we are invincible but many of us know that life is not always as smooth as we want it to be. My story with the fragility of life started in 2017 when my mother was diagnosed with cancer.
The staff at the NHS and McMillan Cancer helped us so much, that I have always wanted to thank them for their kindness, emotional support and medical skills in carrying my mother and our family through her cancer. She has been free from cancer for 12 months now after many chemotherapy treatments. As last year i raised fund for McMilan Cancer Support.
This year i would like to appreciate the courages of paramedics team and ambulance service who are always the first to reach and on call 24/7 to support critical medical needs. It is an honour for me to raise a fund for them by doing this 6 hours challenge for the hard work and determination they put to save the life of the patients. My mantra is do little things in a great way. I will do a six hour run in my Army house garden, I will run up and down the 7 metre length patio and I hope you will all support me in my effort. My target is only £500, and I appreciate that some people are not working, so any little amount will be greatly appreciated.
Take care everyone and stay safe.
