Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I, in a moment of pure inspiration/madness, have decided it is time to don the old running shoes again and partake in the form of torture that goes by the name of the London Marathon.

Once again, I will be running for the Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability in Putney. These guys are amazing, the work they carry out is unique, however this means they don't get the exposure and support that a lot of the larger charities receive. As such, by supporting me running this marathon, you have the opportunity to make a real difference.

The last time I ran, it took me fully five hours and fifteen minutes to complete and I hobbled for the last 2 1/2 miles. This time, I'm really going for it and I have set myself a target time of under 4 hours, with no stoppages. All who know me will know that this is going to take a huge effort on my part, so please don't let it be in vain; please give generously.

I will giving regular updates on my training progress through this site and facebook.

Once again I'd like to thank you for visiting my page and for your support.

Patrick
