Story
In 2013 I had an accident in Afghanistan that led to me having nerve damage in my lumbar spine and deteriorating mobility issues.
After being medically discharged from the army in March 2016 having done 8 years in the Army, and lots and lots of medical intervention I had a below knee amputation in January 2020.
I got my first prosthetic in May 2020 and started cycling soon after. I've gone from strength to strength after years of using mobility aids to not needing them at all.
I'm doing this challenge to help raise a little bit for an amazing charity that helps veterans and their families each in anway that they need on an individual basis. Nick and his team do an amazing job in extremely testing times. Also because I have a screw loose.
Best get training.
