Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Over the last year I have been involved in a collaborative project between Lidl Northern Ireland and the Mourne Mountain Rescue Team. Our project was finally made public on the 15th August, a major milestone in what I see as a very worthy cause.

Lidl Northern Ireland are donating a site free of charge to the Mourne Mountain Rescue Team.

The Mourne Mountain Rescue Team are a 100% voluntary organisation who provide an often lifesaving emergency service to locals and tourists when exploring the breathtaking Mourne Mountains.

On Sunday the 27th, I will be lapping the Lough with several of my colleagues from Lidl Northern Ireland. While I have my fingers crossed for good weather to make things easy for me - it's often in the worst of conditions that the MMRT are called into action.

Please help me finish through messages of support and by donating where you can to help these volunteers who so often help others.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
