This is really important to me as I was recently diagnosed with MS. I am, however, extremely fortunate at being relatively fit and able to take part in this event... well perhaps I am stretching it a bit when I say 'fit' but I will give it my best shot and I will finish!

There are an awful lot of people out there with this condition who  need as much help and support as they can possibly get and Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre (MSRC) goes a long way towards providing that.

I am honoured to be running as one of Higgy's Heroes. Alastair Hignell was an England rugby international and 1st class cricketer for my home county of Gloucestershire. Despite his own suffering of MS, he has been an absolute inspiration and driving force in raising awareness of the condition as patron of the MSRC.

He just happens to live in Stroud, I was born and brought up in Stroud and this event is in Stroud. The route even passes where I used to live as well as starting and finishing at my old school. Can't wait to re-visit the place.
