Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I love gaming and boardgames in particular.  I already play a lot and when I saw that the NSPCC were holding a Big Boardgame Day it looked like the best opportunity to promote my hobby and use it to give some money to a worthy cause.

Over the course of the weekend from Friday the 27th May, I will be playing as many games as possible with only short pauses for refreshments and maybe a nap (I'm too old to go without sleep so a 24 hour non-stop session idea was abandoned early on :) )

I will be spending some time at Dice & Donuts boardgame cafe in Preston as well as gaming at home and playing everything from light card games like Port Royal to big thematic games such as Secrets of the Lost Tomb, Robinson Crusoe and Space Cadets: Away Missions.

I hope that you will support the charity and donate something no matter how small.  Thank you in advance
