Story
I am doing 'The Fred' in the Lake District on Sunday 8th May. It is 112 miles with 13,000 feet of climbing and considered the hardest one day ride in the UK. The event includes all of the lakeland passes and the hardest (with a 30% gradient) is ridden after 98 miles!
Please support me and Macmillan Cancer Support by donating. It is very easy to donate. Much easier than pedalling a bike 112 miles around some of the steepest/ toughest climbs in the UK !
So ... please make my suffering worthwhile and sponsor me for a few quid.
Macmillan count on supporters to raise 99% of their services. If you are unfamiliar with them here is a brief description of their amazing work ...
"Macmillan wants to reach and improve the lives of everyone living with cancer, and ensure that no one has to face it alone. We're the nurses helping people through treatment. The experts on the end of the phone. The advisers telling people about the benefits they are entitled to. The volunteers giving people a hand with every day things. The campaigners pushing for better cancer care."
