Story

My Aim: Having recently been moved by a series of talks & radio documentaries on UCB I have decided that we can help this valuable and fantastic cause by raising £1,000 to help aid in the important & essential work that Mercy Ships carries out throughout some of the world’s poorest countries.

To do this I will be challenging myself to run & cycle a minimum of 500 miles throughout the month of November, running a minimum of 100 miles. (I’ve had to change from October to November due to welcoming a new baby into the house!)

Also, for every £1 you donate this month to Mercy Ships, the UK government will DOUBLE, so this month is the perfect time to give and help their incredible work!

My Cause: Mercy Ships

https://www.mercyships.org.uk/

Mercy Ships is a faith based international development organisation that deploys hospital ships to some of the poorest countries in the world, delivering vital, free healthcare to people in desperate need.

Founded in 1978 by Don and Deyon Stephens, Mercy Ships has worked in more than 56 countries, providing services valued at more than £1.2 billion. By improving healthcare delivery in every country it visits, Mercy Ships is working to eradicate the diseases of poverty and effectively do itself out of a job.

I will be updating my progress daily so you can see how far I have travelled, please consider donating to help Mercy Ships continue the much needed care they provide.

Thank you,

Paul
