Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
So what does the appeal do for our boys out there when they get home?
“The next ten years promise to make extraordinary demands on the Regiment, serving Welsh Guardsmen, their partners and families and particularly those members of the Regiment who have left through disability or work-related illness. The Welsh Guards Afghanistan Appeal is designed to support, alleviate and improve the prospects of all those consequently in need.
> The fund will enable the Regiment to provide: · Support to the families and dependants of those killed in action by responding promptly to problems of bereavement and hardship. · Support to those wounded on operations, particularly those who have had to leave the Army, to assist in finding them new employment and to help them become active family and community members. · Support to the families and dependants of those seriously wounded or injured in prolonged recovery situations. “
So what Do we need you to do?
We need you to dig as deep as you can to donate to this cause and give as much as you can afford to help our lads when they get back from serving us.
What are we going to do?
We are going to walk the three peaks in a weekend so we will be walking many miles up our highest mountain ranges in 48 hours driving many miles between each location to ensure we keep our end of the bargain.
So please give what you can to these lads who make huge personal sacrifices to keep us all safe. They deal with both the constant threat and reality of death and injury every day and deserve all the help they can get when they come back from these war torn regions.
Thank you from all of us.
