I am running my first GNR in the hope that I can raise as much awareness and funding as possible for the butterfly thyroid cancer charity. This is a charity very close to the hearts of our family.

Katie, my wife, was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer last May and its her courage, strength and determination that have inspired me to do this. Katie's positive attitude towards her diagnosis and treatment totally blew me away and me and our two kids are so proud of her!!

I am not one for running but figured if she can kick cancers ass then hopefully I should be able to run a little half marathon.........

Any donations at all would be greatly appreciated by both us as a family and the charity who have been fantastic with us.
