As the Chiropractic business owner of Herts-Beds-Chiropractic in Welwyn Garden City, myself and my team, my husband Mike and our dog Florence are raising awareness and money for a charity that is very close to our hearts, Marie Curie.

Marie Curie provides people with cancer and other terminal illnesses great support and high quality care that they need in a place of their choice at the end of their lives. 

When I was studying to become a chiropractor many years ago I became friends with a wonderful man, Graham who was a colleague of mine in my class. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with cancer at university and passed away during this time. I feel blessed that I knew him and his family over his sadly shortened lifetime.        

I also experienced first hand what an amazing service the team from Marie Curie gave to Graham and his family and would like to give something back to them.

The challenge that we will be attempting on June 22nd 2014 is to walk the South Downs way in 4 days. That equates to 100 plus miles in 4 days. A Marathon a day!

If we can raise our target of £1000 for Marie Curie it will make all those aching muscles from walking up and down those miles of hills in a British summer! worthwhile.....
