I have decided to run the London Marathon in April 2024 to raise money for BRACE - Alzheimer's research.  BRACE funds clinical and laboratory research into Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia to find better treatments, achieve earlier diagnosis and hopefully one day a cure.

Both Alzheimer's and dementia have affected our family with my gran & grandpa having passed away with the diseases, which I witnessed growing up and although I am not a long distance runner, by any means, I want to push myself mentally and physically to raise as much money as I can for this charity.  The hope is that one day a cure is found so that other families don't have to go through what my family has been through and people themselves no longer have to suffer this awful disease.
