Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

To help raise money and support for the award-winning Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, staff at Persimmon Home’s Anglia office are taking on the Norfolk 3-60 Challenge.

This is a triathlon event stretching 60km (36 miles) and will see participants cycle, run and paddle their way across Norfolk to the finish line in Wroxham. The challenge will begin at Andersons Meadow (Norwich) where the off-road cycle (approx 24 miles) will make its way to Aylsham via Marriots Way. The next leg involves a cross-country run (approx 6 miles) which will see participants pass through the beautiful Bure Valley Path to Coltishall Common for the final stage where all team members will paddle (approx 6 miles) to the race end.

The NICU is a highly specialist unit looking after the needs of premature and critically ill babies. It is one of only three specialist neonatal units in the East of England and staff look after more than 850 babies a year, making it one of the busiest in the region.
