We support Birmingham Children's Hospital to improve the lives of sick children

Story

Brindleyplace's biggest annual event, the Dragonboat Festival, is returning for the Year of the Tiger on Saturday 26th June from 10am to 4pm.

20 Chinese Dragonboats boats will be racing down the Fazeley Canal to raise as much money as possible for Birmingham Childrens Hospital.  This is due to be a "high action race" so we will give it our all and hopefully avoid capsizing !!

Caring for 225,000 sick children from across the UK each year, Birmingham Childrens Hospital's medical and nursing teams provide the best possible treatment and the very highest standards of care.  By updating and developing its current site, the hospital is working to create a world class children's hospital, capable of delivering 21st century medicine in a spacious, modern and child friendly environment.
